Cabin Balaton is a family business, the brainchild of two brothers, Gergő and Viktor. Because of their ties to Tapolca, they spent all their free time at Lake Balaton, Gergő and his family settled here, Viktor started a family in Budapest. The common denominator was Lake Balaton, for which their love and passion remained unbroken.

THE CABIN BALATON PROJECT

The Cabin Balaton project started in May 2021, after years of careful scoping and research. It was important to find the most ideal, harmonious and natural location, where the forest is really close at hand, but the hustle and bustle of Lake Balaton is still within easy reach. From the design and construction to the products for the guests, sustainability and environmental awareness were important in the choice of materials.

But let's be honest, so much care and meticulous work could not have been done by just the two boys, so of course their wives Reni and Vivi also take their share of the Cabin duties.

Reni and Gergő live not far from the Cabin, so they are the ones who welcome the guests, say goodbye to them and often take care of the house chores. They can also meet them in person.

You can meet Vivi and Viktor on our online platforms. They're the ones who answer your messages, your emails, the ones you're in daily contact with when you make reservations.
